SeaBat 8125

The SeaBat 8125 multibeam echosounder with HYDRINS laser inertial system for stabilisation is used to perform detailed bathymetric measurements in coastal waters.

Cougar-XTi by SAAB Seaeye  

The Cougar-XTi is a deep water version of the compact, highly flexible and very powerful Cougar-XT. Apart from all the proven benefits of the Cougar-XT, such as a wide range of quick-change tooling skids, the XTi vehicle features also the iCON system, which allows identification of any malfunctions and shut-down of fault systems without interrupting the vehicle operations. Moreover, it has a modular control system by Saab Seaeye and a fully configurable power distribution system.

Falcon by Seaeye

Seaeye 600DT

The Seaeye 600DT System is designed for operations to a depth of 300 metres. The 600DT is the latest evolution of the original Seaeye 600 introduced in the mid-1980s. The original hydrodynamic shape remained unchanged but the modern digital electronics, control technology and the latest Seaeye SM4 thrusters added to this model enhanced the power and performance of this internationally established observation ROV. The forward speed of the Seaeye 600DT is over three knots.

INERTIAL NAVIGATION SYSTEM (INS)

POS-MV WaveMaster by Applanix r

The POS MV WaveMaster is a user-friendly, complete system designed and built to provide accurate data on the tilt, heading, heave, position, and velocity of a vessel. POS MV has proven in all conditions and became the solution of choice for professionals in the field of hydrography. POS MV is the basic integrated inertial system of the r/v IMOR.

Hydrins by iXsea

HYDRINS is a highly effective inertial system of navigation optimised for the purposes of hydrographic and multibeam surveys. HYDRINS is a compact device that provides very precise data on the current position, heading, tilts and velocity. Apart from storage of the current data, HYDRINS can process raw data using the DELPH INS software.

USBL UNDERWATER POSITIONING SYSTEM

The Ultra-Short BaseLine (USBL) system includes the Sonardyne Ranger Pro

The operation range of the Ranger Pro USBL is 6000 m. The system allows tracking of up to ten targets in the water depth, e.g. ROVs, divers, AUVs, or towed gear. The system calculates the position of a given underwater object based on the measurements of distance and angle between a head located on the vessel (r/v IMOR) and the acoustic transponder installed on the object. Such positioning may be used during underwater inspections, in subsea archaeology, or surveys of cables and pipelines.
