SeaBat 8125

SeaBat 8125 multibeam echosounder, with its HYDRINS laser inertial stabilisation system, is used to conduct detailed bathymetric measurements of coastal waters.

  • Pulse length: 30–300 μsec continuous wave, 300 μsec – 20 ms frequency modulated
  • Number of beams: 512 EA/ED at 400 kHz, 256 EA/ED at 200 kHz
  • Maximum coverage angle: 140° in ED mode, 165° in EA mode
  • Nominal depth: 0.5–150 m at 400 kHz, 0.5–400 m at 200 kHz
