supporting the Director of the Maritime Institite at GMU in implementing the Integrated Management System (IMS) Policy;
implementing the highest safety standards during work performed at sea and on land;
building a safety culture in the workplace, including striving to minimise and prevent occupational accidents, potentially hazardous incidents, and occupational diseases. Furthermore, organising regular training and raising employee awareness of identified hazards and risks related to the performance of a given job;
developing and implementing quality assurance plans, environmental protection programmes, and occupational health and safety programmes for projects implemented at sea and on land;
conducting systematic internal audits as part of the implemented IMS and third-party audits;
supervising compliance with the requirements of the IMS compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 and maintaining the validity of the IMS Certificate, participating in the supervision of legal and other requirements related to quality, the environment, and occupational health and safety;
protecting the environment through actions that eliminate potential environmental damage in implemented projects;
implementing effective communication methods to ensure the quality of projects and maintaining ongoing contact with the Clients;
proper supervision of subcontractors, including conducting appropriate inspections of units, which determine the acceptance of a given unit for the project, as well as QHSE inspections planned already during the project implementation phase.
